Design Camp in Denmark 2019 – Report

Ayanomimi, Design Matters, and HereNow (JP) presented a business / networking trip for Japanese designers & design companies (16-19 Sept. 2019). The purpose was to bridge Danish and Japanese creative professionals, to empower designers, and to promote leading Danish design, design thinking, and innovation.

The program for Design Camp 2019:
Day 1: Welcome event at Design Denmark. Mingling with Danish designers and presentations about Danish design DNA and Danish & Japanese similarities. Company visit at Kontrapunkt.
Day 2: Company visit at SPACE 10, Designit, and guided tour at Designmuseum Danmark.
Day 3: Design Matters
Day 4: Design Matters, bye bye gathering

The participants enjoyed the Danish way of living, interacting, and learning. Some of them had planned business meetings, went to Louisiana, and visited Danish homes to cook and eat together with the locals.

SPECIAL THANKS TO: Design Denmark, Kontrapunkt, SPACE10, Designit, Designmuseum Danmark, The Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo, and all the participants!
